Hi, I’m Nate Meyer, the owner of Prairie Contracting, based in Rogers, MN. I started my excavation journey in 2019, working for a small family-owned excavating company. From the very beginning, I discovered a passion for operating heavy machinery and seeing projects through from start to finish. There’s something truly rewarding about transforming raw land into a usable space and watching people’s reactions to the precision and skill required in every task we perform.
Over the next 5½ years, I had the privilege of learning from veteran operators, mastering the ins and outs of excavation, land clearing, grading, site preparation, and foundation work. Those years of hands-on experience taught me not only the technical skills but also the importance of attention to detail, safety, and delivering high-quality results every time.
Eventually, I realized this was more than a job—it’s my calling. I wanted to create my own company that reflects my dedication to excellence and my love for bringing clients’ visions to life. At Prairie Contracting, we specialize in land clearing, site preparation, excavation, grading solutions, and all aspects of land management throughout Central Minnesota.
